Dates: 21-22 June 2017

LocationIsegran Fort, Fredrikstad Lodging will be on-site in shared rooms, and food will be provided locally. Lodging includes the night before and during the course, and attendants are expected to arrive the day before the course, and leave on the second day, after the course is over.

Learning outcomes: After the course you know how to get the most out of the writing process. You understand the editorial processes and how to work with them. You know what it takes to get published in top-ranked journals.

Selection: NORBIS has a limited number of places in this course, and in the submission form you will be asked to upload an abstract for the paper you plan to work on during the course. We will select those of you whom are most likely to benefit from this course.

Registration:  Here by 15th May. Registration includes venue, teachers and food. NORBIS members can attend free of charge. In addition NORBIS will cover travel and accommodation for eligible members. 

 

 

This high-level writing course is a collaboration between several Norwegian national research schools, and is aimed at senior PhD students and postdocs who are working on high-impact data for top-tier journals. The workshop is taught by editors from selected relevant journals from the Nature Publishing Group, and aims to provide coaching and contact between the authors and the editors to facilitate tailoring results and pitch to the target audience.
